| Hey Folks! I have HEAPS to update...but I'll just start small first I'm on my last week of the school holiday break, which means that Term 1 2007 has finished and next week I'll be starting Term 2. It has been such a fantastic learning curve for me last Term. New kids, new teacher's aide (for my two kids who have autisim) and new parents to deal with. But throught it all God's gracious hand has really guided me through everything, especially my parent-teacher interviews I have really experience His faithfulness to me. Thank you Lord. Hmm..what else? Oh yes, Vinny finally graduated (see photos below) and he's now working. He's had a very good start to his career, God has been so good to him. I know I have much to update but at the moment that's all that I can think of at the moment...See photos! Chip Chip Cheerio! Me & Vinny

| So Far... I love teaching! Its such a fantastic opportunity to bless and impact lives! I'm so grateful to God for this blessing, because not only did He give me a great school to start off with but the staff and the kids and their parents have been superbly supportive and His favour is just amazing! So its been 3 weeks since I started and now I'm school holidays (you get 2 weeks off every 10 weeks in a Term and the end of the year holiday is like 2 months- booyah!) So I'm just taking this time to rest, do the rest of my Term 4 teaching programme and catching up with friends. Holidays are tops! Tomorrow I'm going to Human Nature's (Australia's only "boyband") Motown concert with Vinny. Hehe Mowtown by an aussie group - but their Mowtown Album went platinum so they must be alright ;)
On a very happy note - The Little Mermaid is FINALLY out on DVD! Whoot! About time Disney! :) | | |
| JESUS YOU'RE MY SUPERHERO, MY BEST FRIEND! Hiddy Hoo everyone! I haven't update my blog on AGES - sorry. I've lacked things to write but mostly I've just been lazy. I do however have an awesome testimony to write :) God's given me a dream job! Yes folks I've moved from being Miss Yee (or Lee for those kids who can't say the "Yuh" sound in "Y") relief teacher to Miss Yee Yr. 3 teacher (I start Wednesday 6th Sept.) Its awesome. God has shown me that He will always give the best to His kids. Never seconds. The BEST. So, just to encourage you all - stay faithful and hang on to the hope that even though you keep praying and asking "why God why?" when things don't work out to how you want it, remember its in His time that all things work out and that all things are beautiful. God Rocks. | | |
| Just an update.
God's been really good. I've been meaning to write this but keep on forgetting...I've finally reached out to a friend of mine since highschool and I've invited her to Adrenalin which is a Youth Alive WA event that's been going in Perth for a while now. Every year they get outside speakers from Hills or Planetshakers and you have your loud music and teeny-boppers, but that's beside the point...
Anyway, its taken me seven years to get to the stage where I'm not nervous about talking about Jesus. Seven years. That's a while. It's reassuring to know that no matter how long it takes for you to finally pluck up that courage and invite someone to Church or talk to them about your faith - God's been there from the very beginning. And that every step that finally leads you to open that gob of yours and say something - He's orchestrated.
The rest is for His glory.
Go God. | | |
| Run, baby, Run
Kinetic Amazing Race 2006
And "run" I did! Now my hip & legs absolutely kill! Which means I'm very sore from Saturday's Amazing Race but it was such GREAT fun! Even though we came last (some of our picture answers weren't handed in!) it didn't matter because we all enjoyed ourselves.
I think I did get my team a little lost, because we completely looped to East Perth and just ended up at RPH again and we came from there, so I was majorly pouty with myself because I cost them travelling time - I think the kids took it better than me though ;)
The weather held up for pretty much most of the day (God heard our prayers) and it didn't rain for the BBQ after aswell, so we were able to do kick a footy around! (Cherie = power kicker!)
Here are some pics of my lovely team! Good job guys!
